Esperanza has arrived!

So excited to announced that my dear friend Ana Karen, after many months of hard, hard work, has finally launched her line of fashion accessories, Esperanza. I’m so proud, I was there from the beginning (She was kind enough to let me design her logo!). She started out with headbands and head wraps, but this is an ambitious little girl, so I’m sure this is only the tip of the iceberg. She’s coming into the city today, Esperanza is going to take New York by storm!!!

“The name for Indie designer Ana Karen accesories line Esperanza was inspired in part by her grandmother, Esperanza, whos buttons and laces Ana collected as a child, and in part by the meaning of the word Esperanza: hope. Ana’s ambitions for the company stem from her desire to give back to the people of her native country, Guatemala.

Even thought the production first started out in New York , all production of Esperanza accessories is kept local in order to provide jobs to Guatemalan communities in which they also are been treated fairly for their time and work. Our product is hand made and produced in limited quantities with lots of ♥”

Esperanza in the city.
